The Cicely Foundation exists for deprived, vulnerable and needy children in both the United Kingdom and throughout the world to help overcome some of their difficulties. The main focus of the Foundation involves supporting work linked to education, health and well-being.

Support will generally be in the form of direct financial contributions to existing and established registered charities and organisations. Individuals or groups that are working, or planning to work, within the philosophy of the Foundation can also be financial beneficiaries via our Project Support Grants. Other forms of assistance such as training, accommodation, travel or the supply of equipment and resources may also be provided.

All written applications and requests for support will be fully considered by the founders and trustees if they meet the criteria outlined within this Ethos Statement. Decisions about suitability and level of funding will be made by the founders after discussion with, or input from, the trustees.

The Foundation will not be associated with individuals, groups or organisations holding fundamental or closed religious beliefs and stances. Similarly, individuals, groups or organisations who support or hold political viewpoints diametrically opposed to those of the directors, officers, trustees or the ethos of the Foundation will not qualify for support. Any involvement in corrupt or illegal practice will prohibit positive involvement with the Cicely Foundation.

All annual donations are at least matched by the founders. All running costs and expenses are externally funded.
